Trever shifted a little and opened his eyes slowly as the sun began to shine on his face. He turned his face away and held his arm over his eyes.

Cain smiled and said aloud" Ok time for me to endulge into another fatherly urge... Wake up son, Ive got breakfast!" Cain pulled out a tray of pancakes eggs and bacon. and then pulled off the sheets very carfuly, not to touch the huge stain.

"Who the fuck are you and why are my sheets covered in jizz?" Trever asked jokingly as he got up. Trever took a pancake and shoved the whole thing in his mouth before he took the tray. "Thanks dad." He said with his mouth still full. He sat down on the bed and continued eating.

Cain smiled at his son and said" Hey no talking with your mouthfull." Cain laughed and remebered what he had planed and looked away from Trever for a moment.

Trever gestured in that 'screw you, im eating' kind of way and then continued eating like a starved dog. He saw his father look away. He swallowed this time, "Something wrong, pops?"

Cain was tempted to tell his son everything but thought that it may be too soon, that he might think that his father was a monster, so Cain answered" Nothing son...What if I told you that... I might be concidering turnning somone into a vampire.. to protect another person I care about.."

[Trever Valens]

"Um?" He tilted his head to the side. "I dunno...I mean...if its to protect someone then thats good...right? I mean youre not killing anyone." Trever smirked. "What is this about though?"

[Cain]

Cain looked down and said," In a way I wouldent kill anyone... Maybe this old man is getting worried over nothing... I just worried about you son.. sometimes I think if I wasent a Vampire, maybe you'd have normal life span, but since youre half of my blood.. you don't You'll Live aslong as you wish or til doomsday, and.. I'v lost too many friends to count over the last five hundred years I dont want you to suffer..."

"Father, please. I'll be fine. I dont..." But then he realised what he wanted to do specifically. "Its ok, dad....Desi's special...besides her smile, her cute laugh, her caring heart, and her tough attitude...its one of the reasons I must be so...attracted to her." Attraction wasnt even the right word. He...He lwas falling for her. He wouldn't admit it though. "Shell be around for awhile herself...."

Cain thought Trever was lying to himself, and Cain could do was smile and hope, that Trever would change his minde, before she passed on. Cain watched his son, he himself knew the signes of love, And he knew Trever was falling hard for her, "Trever.. I love you and I dont want you to get hurt."

"I wont dad...she told me herself. You saw her. Shes an immortal shapeshifter...or something..." Unless she was lying or just had no clue herself. But oh well...that didnt matter to him right now...
