Trever gently put the check into his inner jacket pocket. "Thank you, dad." He looked at him as she sat down. He tilted his head to one side again. "Her eyes?" Yeah? He always figured his crimson eyes derived off him. Or did he mean his 'true' color that was visible when he was in wolf form. That he could believe a bit more.

Cain smiled at Trever and looks back at the simi-old photo, then puts it back into his pocket, and looks at his son and asks, " Trever... Do you Think she's waiting for me.. on the other side?"

"Im sure she is...she had never loved a man after you.And believe me when I say,she had many opportunities to do so" A lot of men fancied her.He grew up watching them be rejected one by one. He almost wished she had let a few of them into her heart,though he hated to say it now. At least she would of been happy so he didnt have to worry about her. And if there was that man in their lives,at least he knew she would be safe. Hell,at least hed have a meal every night instead of having to eat out a dumpster.But that was a selfish wish for all those years, wasnt it? But if his mother would rather be faithful to his father than help protect and feed her boy...so be it. It was the only thing hed still hold with anger.He understands better now but even still.When theres nothing else to turn to,would someone really hold such faith in that one person and let you and your own son suffer?That one person never came back. So what was half his life for?He did feel selfish, but logically speaking, he knew the right answer...

Cain smiled but felt hollow inside, He knew he had been a bane to Trevers childhood and hurt him indirectly, Cain dident want to hurt anyone, but then the thought of all the people who ran him out of town and threatened all the ones he loved, He let a evil thought of finaly getting revenge enter his minde, but he dident want his son caught in the cross-fire. "Son I love you, and I'm sorry for harming your life.."

Trever shook his head. "Its not your fault...you had to..." Trever looked away. "Besides...Its not current. This is an entirely different life now..." But could he forget...anything? He sighed. "Itll be alright."

[Cain]

Cain looked at Trever and noticed him turning away.. Cain knew he couldent do anything to bering back Karin, or Trever's childhood and all the missed momnets of father hood, All Cain could think of was what he wanted to say to Karin and all the pain and sarrow he caused, and for a momnet Cain had wished That "The Twins" had just left him to die, that he'd not have been so afraid of death, that he was braver to fight and stay with Karin or Taken her away.. to watch Trever grow up, ride a bike.

[Squall Leonhart]

"Dad its alright." He knew he was hurting inside too and both their broodind wasnt worth it. "Cmon. Happy face, pops." He put on a smile for his dad. He had him now and that was the main thing. He didnt want to ever lose him again.

Cain see's Trever smile and says," Trever I love you my son, lets go get you that car." Cain opens the door waiting for Trever and smiles.

"I love you too dad. No doubt about that." Trever pat him on the shoulder before walking out the door. He then found his way outside. He thought for a moment on what the best place to look was. Timber had become a real industrial power house due to Galbadia. And now that they were booted out, Timber sold everything pretty much here in hopes to attract tourists as well as picky buyers. Of course Timber makes much better items than Galbadia. Its always been all about quality over quantity here. But still there was way too many choices...

Cain remebered when he first set foot into Tember, The town was big for sure but it dident make him feel greatly small, not like Midgard. Cain follows Trever carfuly not to allow anyone to his face.

Trever kept a good distance from his father.Theyd only look more conspicuous together and hed rather not have the whole town after them at once,if he could help it.At this point,he was a few yards from his father,ust passing by a few young men playing a land version of Blitzball.He recognised all of them from his old pack,the Forest Coyotes.He just continued on his way without another glance.One of the guys who had the ball stopped to look at him he smirked and purposely punted the ball in his direction. Having a natural nack for Blitz,he stopped right at the point where the ball was going to land and let it bounce off his head. He jumped up and flipped backward, snapping his leg out to kick the ball. then landed on his feet again,in a knelt position.He stood and turned around right as the ball reached the goalie on the other side."Well Id be damned..only my brother Valens could make a shot like that."The kid who had kicked him the ball turned back to him, a wide grin on his face."Simon..." Trever sighed.

Cain smiled and stoped to watch what would happen between the two but was ready for a fight if he needed to pull his son out of trouble, he's claws already out.

Trever passes some guys playing Blitzball w/o the H2O but pays no mind to them. He continues walking toward the car dealership. He had taken this time walking to mentally browse his options and he more or less knew what he was looking for in a car. He wanted something tough....he thought about a truck but that was sometimes a hit or miss in convenience. Hed get frustrated trying to find a good spot with that kind of beast. So hed take a more...Compact kind of toughness. He knew where he could find that.

Cain follows Trever excited for the boy to make his choice, Cain knew that this was a milestone that shouldve happened sooner. Cain watchs Trever knowing his son would pick out what he wanted.
