Personality:
Trever’s a really friendly and loving guy at heart, but there’s one fine line with him that you should never try to cross. Don’t piss him off. Trever’s known for his patience and he’s very forgiving usually. If he or someone he cherishes is being threatened, chances are that the offender isn’t getting out of it without something being lost. Besides being protective, Trever also has a history of being very possessive and territorial. Because of this he’s also a little bit of a control freak over those he does conquer in battle. To friends and most strangers though, Trever has the kindest and most giving personalities one could ever encounter.
Biography:
Trever was a very troubled child growing up, even to this day he can be quite the misfit, but none of that is without cause. He grew up in Timber with his mother until he was about 13 years old. They were dirt poor and matters were only made worse because of the war for Timber's independence. All Trever ever wanted to do was help his mother out and he felt that things were never going to get better unless he kicked the dirty Galbadian rats out of Timber. So with that, at the age of 10 he created the youth rebel group known as the Forest Coyotes. Yes, at 10 years old Trever was bossing around 6 to 16 year olds and fighting the good fight for the sake of his home.
3 years later, after the fight against Ultimecia was won, the original SeeD party and Rinoa of the Forest Owls had returned to complete their contract to help gain Timber's freedom from Galbadia. Trever had never seen anything like it. He had known Rinoa before she ran out of town with these SeeD guys and he had never quite seen her in such a organized and trained state. He admired all of them. He wished he could be just like them. And unfortunately the next week his wish came true in the most horrific of ways. In a final and desperate attempt to keep in control of Timber, the Galbadian fleet set fire to a few structures in Timber. One of them being Trever's house. It was night and he had fallen asleep while he swore he'd keep an eye on the neighborhood that night. He awoke as the fire had engulfed his whole house. He and his mother were trapped and there was no way he could reach her to say goodbye to his beloved mother. Soon he collapsed from depletion of oxygen. before he passed out he could see that one of the SeeDs had barged in and saved him right on time. But his mother couldn't be saved that night. And he never forgave himself for that.
He then was raised in Edea's house for awhile until he was 14, a year later. Someone had come to adopt him. Some man named Cain who understood him right off the bat...and he loved the guy ever since. Then he was told that the man was his real father...and that didnt surprise him. The two are settled in Balamb Garden. Trever is a student there and Cain, a SeeD instructor. If Trever stepped out of line, it wouldnt be the Headmasterdealing with him. You could guarantee Cain would take care of it. In that way he did his fathering job well. Even to this day.

((Takes place before the the original party member's arrival in Timber after game's events.))
13 year old Trever was playing land Blitzball with a few friends in the streets of Timber. The roads were empty this time of day so why not play a game in the middle of the road? It was completely practical seeing as teenagers were virtually indestructible; in their minds anyway. This rowdy bunch was no different, but because they had grown up in the midst of a revolution. This hardened them, made them more disciplined and aware of the constant danger they faced just by living in these hard times. But with that, all the Coyotes had a very rebellious nature and a great hatred for the ones that oppressed them: Galbadia.
“Car!” A young man with his arm in a cast called out from the sidewalk as a vehicle approached the group. All the boys packed up the ball and the goals and ran over to the sidewalk. The Galbadian Army transport slowed up as it entered view so it was recognized quite easily by the boys. Trever and the rest of them watched the large vehicle cautiously. Trever's eyes flickered downward for a moment. He kicked up a rock from the ground and caught it in his hand before staring back up. “Don't do it man...I don't want you getting a broken arm too.” The kid with the cast whispered to him. But it was too late to change Trever's mind.
When the transport passed by them, Trever chucked the rock at it, smashing the back window. The transport braked almost immediately after, two Galbadian troops jumped out of the back before it even stopped, their guns pointed at the kids. Another two soldiers came out of the driver and passenger sides and took formation with the others. They all shouted out them and told them to stop and get against the wall with hands behind their heads. They boys did so with a sigh, as if it were a constant tedious routine, more so than a forceful order. “So who's the wise guy, huh? You brats really should know better by now!” The higher ranking officer of the squad scolded as he got up in each of the boy's faces. “It's one disappointment after another with you fucking son's of bitches!” He continued to go on with his mini tirade. “Like you Joey! One broken arm wasn't enough?” The Galbadian got in the boy with the cast's face. The young man looked away from the soldier, which only ticked him off more. “You stupid sack of shit, you fucking look at me when I am talking to you! You got any balls kid?” The officer spat in his face.
Trever lunged at the guy, taking him off guard so that he ended up on the ground. While he was on top of him, Trever tried his best to do as much damage as he could by punching him in the face repeatedly. The only damage he did was to his own knuckles though. It took all three of the other Galbadians to finally rip Trever off. Once they did, they held him back so the officer could get up. He took off his now dented helmet and looked Trever straight in the eyes. “Should of known. You're a fucking pain in my ass kid.” He spat on the ground and got up in Trever's face. “But I think we should settle it. Once and for a-” Right then, Trever spat in his face and since his legs were free, he kicked the man in the groin. “You son of a whore! That's it! I'm done being nice! I don't care if he's a minor! Hang him, shoot him, give him the god damn chair, cut his head off and mount it on a stick! I don't give a shit just DO IT!” In all fairness to the guard, Trever had always been a nuisance to Galbadian ideals in Timber. Today he had enough. The guards were about to shove him in the truck but then a young man, unknown to this area, stepped in front of them.
“Let him go. I think your the one who's better suited in the chair.” The man spoke as he showed his face to the guard. Cold blue eyes which held a diagonal scar in between.
“Yeah. Pick on someone your own size, asshole.” A spikey haired blond guy with a tattoo on his face said after he had jumped onto the top of the transport.
“Can it, Zell. They're too scared to pick on a grown man. Look at them shaking now.” An oddly dressed man said from a nearby roof said as he transfixed his gun on one of them.
“Looks like someones going to have to teach you a lesson!” A girl in a yellow dress ran over to them, cutting off the only way they could run now.
“I'll be glad to do that personally...” A blond chick with a whip walked next to her, cracking her whip. The soldiers were seriously pissing themselves at this moment.
A woman with black hair wearing mostly blue came up next to the first man. This one was very familiar to Trever. “I watched these kids grow up. Don't you dare touch them.” She said to the soldiers. At this point, the Galbadians let go of Trever and all huddled together. Trever now recognized the girl and her companions. It was Rinoa and her back up from SeeD! He was so excited that no words could explain. The smile on his face said so. “I promised I'd come back. Right Trever?” Rinoa winked at him, knowing she had done her job in calling for back up. Even if it was about three years late now.
“Yeah. And man did you deliver!” Trever nodded, tilting his hat to her. “So you're gonna help us get these rats out of our town, right Mr. SeeD Guy?” Trever looked up at the man that stood beside Rinoa.
“Well. We have a contract saying we have to be here until Timber gets its independence. So I dont think we have much of a choice.” He smirked and crossed his arms over his chest. “By the way, you can call me Squall. I look forward to helping you and your town out.” Squall then looked passed Trever, to the opposing Galbadians.
“Y-You'll regret this, SeeD!” The officer called out to him.
“Yeah...whatever...” Squall looked at Rinoa, who nodded at him with a smile. “Drop the guns and start running. I'll give you a ten second head start.” The Galbadians did just as he said and ran off passed the two other women. Squall approached the standard assault rifles on the floor and picked one up. “Usually I don't agree with giving young boys guns and fight in an army. But in all honesty, in this fight, we'll need it. But I'm sure you can handle it.” Squall handed Trever the gun and held his shoulder. “Go get em. I'm sure the ten seconds is up.” Squall said to him before Trever could reply. All the Forest Coyotes darted off in pursuit of the unarmed guards. Trever hesitated for a moment.
“Thank you...thank you...” before Trever started crying, he sprinted off with his pack, giving the Coyote howl the whole way. Timber would be theirs, just like it was meant to be.
